If it is a recurring expense/deposit, the next time you start to type in the entry, Quicken fills in the rest of the information for you on the fly. When you enter data in your checkbook register once, QuickFill remembers the entry. One of the refinements I was referring to above is called QuickFill.
For those of you who might be thinking "Sure, it may be a good program, but who has the time to enter historical data?" you can relax. Intuit has announced an October 26th release date for the latest Macintosh version of its popular personal finance software.
